Patrick Gaitan, MSW Intern
Patrick has immediate openings in North Bethesda, MD and via telehealth to clients in MD, DC, and Virginia
Hi, I’m Patrick, a Master of Social Work intern at Hopeful Core Therapy. I work well with people who are feeling stuck—emotionally, mentally, or even physically—in patterns they want to shift. You might be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or the weight of past experiences that feel hard to name. You may be dealing with housing instability, major life transitions, or simply trying to find more stability and meaning in your day-to-day life.
I specialize in supporting people navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and housing instability. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and grounded in compassion. With over a decade in mental health and social services, I offer a space to feel safe, seen, and supported as you work toward healing and growth.
I aim to create a calm and grounded space where you can explore what’s working, what’s not, and what’s possible. If you're feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to shift, I invite you to reach out. Therapy doesn’t have to be perfect or polished—it just has to start. You don’t have to do this alone.

Gabriella Fortuna, MSW Intern
Patrick has immediate openings in North Bethesda, MD and via telehealth to clients in MD, DC, and Virginia
Hi, I’m Gabriella – I hold a Master of Science in Public Health with a concentration in maternal and child health and am finishing up my Masters of Social Work. I’m a mom to a toddler and have a strong interest in supporting women who hope to become mothers or are already on the journey. I understand the deep longing to become a parent, and the beauty and complexity that come with it. The postpartum period and parenthood at any stage can be overwhelming and bring major identity shifts. You are not alone—I’m here to support you through it all.
As a therapist, I bring my dedication, empathy, and passion – and I invite you to be who you are and keep an open mind. I believe if you dedicate the time and effort therapy can be meaningful and helpful. If you work with me you can expect me to be an active listener and be there to support you on your journey meeting you where you are at.
Let’s Connect. If something in this resonates, I’d love to connect. You can schedule a free consultation call or reach out with questions — I’d be honored to hear your story and support you in this season.
