Fertility and Perinatal Coaching

Personalized support through fertility treatment, pregnancy, loss, and the transition to parenthood.

Navigating fertility treatment, pregnancy, and early parenthood can be emotionally overwhelming. Even when things are going well, you may find yourself managing uncertainty, difficult decisions, changing relationships, and emotions you weren't expecting.

You don't have to navigate it all on your own.

At Hopeful Core Therapy, I offer individualized fertility and perinatal coaching to help you feel more supported, informed, and confident as you move through these experiences.

With over a decade of experience specializing in reproductive and perinatal mental health, I bring a compassionate, practical, and personalized approach to supporting individuals and couples through some of life's most emotionally complex transitions.

Whether you're beginning fertility treatment, navigating pregnancy after loss, or adjusting to parenthood, coaching provides a dedicated space to process your experiences, develop practical strategies, and feel less alone along the way.

Coaching Services

  • IVF and Fertility Coaching

Emotional support and practical guidance throughout your fertility journey.

Fertility treatment often involves much more than medical appointments and procedures. The waiting, uncertainty, decisions, financial pressures, and impact on relationships can feel exhausting.

Fertility coaching can help you:

  • Navigate the emotional ups and downs of IVF, IUI, and other fertility treatments.

  • Develop strategies for managing uncertainty and difficult waiting periods.

  • Prepare questions and advocate for your needs during medical appointments.

  • Navigate treatment decisions and communication with your care team.

  • Manage the impact of infertility on relationships, work, and everyday life.

  • Feel supported through treatment setbacks, unexpected changes, and next steps.

Whether you're preparing for your first cycle or have been navigating fertility treatment for years, coaching offers consistent, individualized support along the way.

  • Pregnancy After Loss & Pregnancy Support

Finding space for hope and uncertainty to coexist.

Pregnancy after infertility or loss can bring a complicated mix of excitement, fear, hope, and uncertainty. You may find that reassurance doesn't always come easily, even when everything appears to be progressing well.

Coaching offers personalized support to help you:

  • Navigate emotionally challenging milestones and appointments.

  • Develop practical strategies for managing uncertainty between visits.

  • Prepare for conversations with your medical providers.

  • Identify ways to communicate your needs to loved ones.

  • Navigate the emotional transition from fertility treatment into pregnancy.

  • Create a personalized plan for additional support throughout pregnancy.

You deserve support that recognizes the complexity of your experience without expecting you to feel a certain way.

  • Postpartum & Parenthood Transition Coaching

Supporting you as you adjust to a new chapter.

The transition into parenthood can be joyful, challenging, exhausting, and unfamiliar all at once. It can also bring unexpected changes in identity, relationships, routines, and expectations.

Coaching can help you:

  • Prepare emotionally and practically for the transition to parenthood.

  • Explore changes in identity, priorities, and personal expectations.

  • Navigate communication, responsibilities, and changing relationship dynamics.

  • Develop realistic routines, boundaries, and support systems.

  • Prepare for returning to work or balancing multiple roles.

  • Identify ways to care for yourself while caring for others.

Whether you're preparing for your baby's arrival or adjusting to life after birth, coaching provides a space to focus on your needs, too.

What Does Coaching Look Like?

Coaching is collaborative, individualized, and focused on your specific circumstances and goals.

Depending on your needs, we may work together through individual sessions, a short-term coaching package, or support surrounding a particular transition or treatment cycle.

Our work may include:

  • One-on-one virtual coaching sessions

  • Personalized coping and communication strategies

  • Preparation for upcoming decisions, appointments, or transitions

  • Practical exercises and resources

  • Optional partner involvement

  • Structured support throughout a defined period

We'll discuss your goals and determine the approach that makes the most sense for you.

How Is Coaching Different From Therapy?

While both coaching and psychotherapy can provide meaningful support, they serve different purposes.

Psychotherapy focuses on assessing and treating mental health concerns, exploring psychological patterns, and addressing emotional or behavioral symptoms.

Coaching is a nonclinical service focused on education, practical strategies, decision-making, personal goals, and navigating specific life experiences.

Coaching does not involve mental health diagnosis or treatment and is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or medical advice.

If you're experiencing significant anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, or other mental health concerns, therapy may be a more appropriate option. I'm happy to help you consider which type of support best fits your needs.
