A Supportive Space to Grow, Connect & Feel Understood

Growing up comes with challenges, and sometimes children, teens, and young adults need extra support navigating their emotions, relationships, and life experiences.

Whether your child is experiencing anxiety, struggling with friendships or school, adjusting to a major change, or having difficulty expressing their feelings, therapy can provide a safe and encouraging space to explore what's happening.

At Hopeful Core Therapy, we offer compassionate, developmentally appropriate therapy for children, teens, and young adults ages 6–25, with an emphasis on building confidence, emotional awareness, and practical coping skills.

Support for young people. Guidance and reassurance for families.

Therapy for Kids, Teens & Young Adults

How Therapy Can Help

Every child, teen, and young adult experiences challenges differently. Therapy offers a supportive space to better understand emotions, build coping skills, and navigate difficult experiences.

We support young people experiencing:

  • Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm — including school pressures, worry, and perfectionism

  • School and peer challenges — friendships, social concerns, and adjusting to new environments

  • Grief and loss — navigating difficult emotions following a loss or significant change

  • Trauma and life transitions — processing challenging experiences and adapting to change

  • Emotional regulation — understanding and managing strong feelings

  • Self-esteem and identity — building confidence, self-awareness, and a stronger sense of self

Our approach is individualized, strengths-based, and focused on helping young people feel understood and supported.

What Therapy Looks Like

Therapy should feel like a space where young people can be themselves, feel understood, and develop skills to navigate life's challenges.

Our approach is warm, collaborative, creative, and tailored to each client's age, developmental needs, and individual goals.

For Children

Sessions may incorporate creative activities, play-based approaches, and developmentally appropriate strategies to help children express emotions, build coping skills, and develop confidence.

For Teens & Young Adults

Sessions are generally more conversational, offering space to explore relationships, identity, school or work stress, emotional challenges, and important life transitions.

For Parents & Caregivers

Parents and caregivers are included as clinically appropriate through check-ins, guidance, and collaboration. We balance family involvement with each young person's need for privacy, trust, and independence.

Our goal is to create a supportive environment where young people feel safe opening up and families feel supported throughout the process.
