Get To Know Me

Professionally

I’m Rose, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to clients across the DMV. I’ve been offering in-person and virtual therapy since 2015, with a primary focus on reproductive and perinatal mental health, alongside anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, relationship stress, and major life transitions.

My work is grounded in both professional training and clinical experience. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating infertility and IVF, pregnancy and postpartum challenges, pregnancy and perinatal loss, NICU-related trauma, and the emotional transitions of parenthood. I also work with teens and adults managing anxiety, stress, identity concerns, and relationship challenges—helping clients build coping skills, strengthen resilience, and feel more grounded in their lives.

Therapy with me is personalized, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I draw from narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and interpersonal and psychodynamic approaches. I believe therapy works best when it’s paced thoughtfully, rooted in trust, and focused on both emotional insight and practical tools that support real-life change.

My practice is also shaped by lived experience. I understand first- hand the emotional complexity of reproductive and early parenting journeys, having experienced IVF, NICU life, and new parenthood myself. These experiences inform how I show up in the therapy space—with nuance, compassion, and deep respect for how layered and personal these experiences can be.

Personally

Outside of sessions, I enjoy time with my family, exploring new towns and local shops, cruises, and practicing self-care—especially manicures, massages, and brunch. I bring warmth, humor, and humanity into sessions, because life is messy, and therapy should feel real.
