Hi, I’m Rose - I’m really glad you’re here.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating — especially when you’re burnt out, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. If you’ve found yourself here, please know: it makes sense to seek support, and you don’t have to carry this alone.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing reproductive, maternal and general/life adjustment psychotherapy for adults living in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. I focus on supporting clients experiencing anxiety, concerns, life transitions, reproductive concerns, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). I have a particular interest and expertise in infertility, pregnancy loss, and pregnancy after loss/infertility. In addition to private practice, I am pleased to work as am imbedded mental health clinician at OB/GYN Associates, a women’s health practice in SIlver Spring, MD, where I focus on providing perinatal, reproductive, and general psychotherapy to patients of that practice.

As a mom to two IVF-conceived children and a loss survivor, I know first hand the nuances and emotions behind the journeys that many of my clients are experiencing. I combine my personal experience with my professional knowledge/expertise to provide quality, client-centered therapy to those at any point in their parenthood/pregnancy/fertility journeys or those just looking for some support with the many demands of life or with relationship issues.

I cater my approach to each client’s needs and desires. I primarily utilize techniques of narrative therapy, interpersonal therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-focused techniques. Together, we will explore what you “thought” your journey would look like and the grief of that not being the case, take time to process the thoughts and feelings around how things are currently, and work on gaining acceptance of the journey that you are going through, while understanding and processing the various emotions you may be experiencing. More than any model, I believe healing happens in an authentic relationship where you feel truly seen and supported.

Whether you’re adjusting to life after baby, grieving a loss, feeling lost in the fertility process, or just trying to find yourself again — I’m here to help you slow down, tune in, and feel more like you again.
